LA Wireless Information Network:


The Louisiana Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant of the responsibility to protect the citizens of Louisiana during times of need and provide tools valuable to emergency service agencies, releases the Louisiana Wireless Information Network (LWIN) smart phone app. This app provides agencies, citizens of Louisiana and other interested parties’ access to important network communication information in the event of a security or natural disaster event.

The LWIN iOS app provides current information on organization members, policies, meetings, what to do, who to call, and areas where LWIN has communications capability. LWIN launches with several modules from Overview, SIEC Members, Policies, Meetings and much more, containing network information for reference. Browse policies, meetings and agenda’s to inform and assist you during a security or natural disaster event.
